We have two year old twins and they play together very well. I was just wondering if its easier having two? They are the only to I have so I don't know what having just one is like.

What about after the diapers? Do singletons get bored easier because they don;t have a playmate?

I have met a few women this past year who have had twins and then a few years later had a another child. To my surprise they all said that the twins were easier than the one baby.
One woman said that she thought it was because the one child can be all consuming where with 2 one is usually having to wait for their turn; they seem to be aware of that & more adaptive than one baby.
I can see her point!

I have four children, an 8 yr old daughter, a 26 month old son, and 14 month old twin boys. I think the twins were and still are much more work than either of my singletons. I will say the fact that my other one is so close in age does not help. I had always wanted to have twins, but now I think I was nuts to wish for that. I love all my children its just that they are alot of work.

i personally think it is easier to raise twins, i have 2 yr old twin girls, before my girls were born i took care of my nephew, i think having 2 is easier, they occupy each other, yes it is more work, but in the long run i believe it is easier, and u dont have to buy 2 of everything when you have twins as most people think you do, they make lots of baby items for twins these days.....

twins are two times the trouble. 1 of them you follow a regular schedule, less time caring over them every single second every single day and less needs. Oh and also a lot less arguments ;-)

I HAVE FOUR KIDS, THEY WERE BORN IN 1980 (A GIRL ) 1986 (A BOY ) 1987 A (BOY) AND 1988 A (GIRL). AND I THINK IT WAS EASIER TO RAISE THEM . MY FRIEND HAS 3 GIRLS AND A BOY. ONE GIRL AND ONE BOY ARE TWINS. THE TWINS ARE ONE NOW, IT WAS HARDER FOR HER TO RAISE THE TWINS WITH SMALLER CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY HAVING A BROKEN ARM.

It is much easier to raise singles. Everything is cut in half (diaper changes, bottles, etc...).

When I was pregnant someone told me once that "1 child takes up ALL your time, 2 cannot take up anymore"...I think that sums it up pretty well.
