i dont know alot about food...my sister is coming over and she loves peanut butter cookies but i don't have any baking soda or baking powder. I also live in the country and a grocery store is pretty far away and I don't have enough time to go to the store, by the stuff, come home, and make the cookies. You're probably thinking, why didn't she think of that yesterday or the day before? I would have but she surprised me. She called today and said she would come and visit! HELP ME!!!

Why not ask your sister to bring baking soda or baking powder and you two can make the cookies together? That's nice sisterly bonding time, besides fresh warm peanut butter cookies are yummy with some milk

1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1tsp vanilla
mix up and prepare and bake as you would "normal" peanut butter cookies.

If you use self rising flour your cookies will be just fine, without the baking soda or powder.

Well, these have peanut butter in them, and they are "no-bake" I know they aren't exactly what you meant, but they are easy, and so very yummy.
