Why do Muslims use the excuse of Israel to perpetuate Jihad?

Doesn't the excuse of Israel defy what the definition of Jihad even is?

When will Jihadi Muslims admit they really are at war with the infidel, nonbeliever, the West?

And how offensive can Muslims actually get?-They actually defend what happened to David Pearl;.
We actually have Terrorists and their sympathisers right here on Yahoo!
NO wonder Bush is bombing the Crap out of the Middle East!

if you can't separate between terrorists and muslims, then your mind is very feeble. terrorists come in all shapes, sizes, and creeds

I think this post.. including the poster is sad!!

Firstly.. to generalise about half the world's population, purely for their religion is attrocious!!

Perhaps Jews can easily be generalised as a homogenous group, but not muslims.. who populate numerous countries across all continents and who outnumber jews on this planet 100:1

In my personal experience, as a born christian who is now a budhhist/atheist.. I grew up with and worked with Jews and Muslims ALL my life!! I know them VERY VERY well..

Firstly.. Muslims can be your best and most loyal friends AND as a group I've found muslims ot be the most calm and honorable type people when you break down the initial "friendship" barrier..

Arabs especially are lovely people when you get to know them and they trust you, which they often do very easily..

To claim they are a pack of jihady terrorists is abonimally RACIST!! AND highly offensive to anyone with intelligence and all muslims and arabs in particular whom you mostly refer to..

I think Jews live a fickle existance and perhaps it is time they learn from their own history and make changes to their own attitudes rather than continue using their ill gotten power to defame half the planet's population..

Personally, I think the Arabs need ot concede Israel and allow the Jews to own a country and to live in peace!! I strongly STRONGLY believe the whole planet will support Jews having a sovereign nation respected even by Arabs and muslims BUT It would end at that! no more wars, no more illegal helicopter fly overs, no more mossad spys entering where ever they wanna go and so forth.. all the **** needs to stop.. Israel should be honored for what it HAS done of good and a lot of Jews have done great things..

And lets move on after that.. no more holocaust museums.. no more terrorism and no more building weapons and creating chemical weapons..

Finally.. the media needs to be controlled by a global unit so it is not used for propaganda purposes.. and TV should strictly show non political shows.. sick of watching neighbors and hearing the word "terrorist"

Lets go back to living in peace, loving our differences and if anything lets all get behind the environment and preserving what we do have left after all the wars and bombs have destroyed so much of our human history now.. and we have wiped out so many species of plant and animals.. this should now be our focus.. not hating muslims.. who would bare the least responsibility of all religions for global warming and environmental degridation..

You are misinterpreting word Jihad. Non-Muslims never understand what Jihad Is. I do Jihad in daily basis. Jihad is a comprehensive word, just like sadaqa (charity) there are a million kinds of charity. A smile is charity, a kind word is charity, not harming others is charity, giving money is charity, moving harm from the road is charity, helping someone carry their bags is charity, teaching is charity. To limit Jihad to only fighting or only self struggle is not fair to the word and to Islam. Jihad is both fighting, inner struggle and much much more. However Jihad does not mean to kill innocent people whatsoever, that is a misconception many have; that jihad means to kill someone just because they are not Muslim or something like that. The Prophet peace be upon him was good friends with many non-Muslims, thus if jihad meant to kill all non-Muslims why didn't the Prophet peace be upon him do that?

Ummm, Excuse me, but you need to get your facts straight. The muslim Jihad is an inner spiritual journy that they believes makes them closer to God, now if you are that hateful that you think that that is bad, then fine. Besides those that strap bombs to themselves are brainwashed for 6 months to make sure they believe in what they are doing (wow sounds alot like the US military) and by that time they aren't even human.

What bush is doing is murdering millions because they are different. It is called a crusaide and it is nothing new.
