People have found out the hard way. After getting up there, realizing that Lucifer is there to help them be a god. I think it is only fair that the Mormon church reveal this truth to the new Mormons who were just baptized into the church.

Jim B, This isn't a strange thing to say about them. It is the truth.

It is just simpler to say this than to write all the differences in their Jesus compared to Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Mormon religion is very complicated and I have a heart for those who get stuck in this trap. My niece being one baptized into it , and now married in a Mormon ceremony that was too private to let her non mormon family members be at her wedding. She thought the salvation because of the Blood of the Lamb didn't sound right. You need to do all you can do.

DonH, Are you Mormon? Lucifer isn't Halal (proud boasting, morning star) any more. He was kicked out of heaven. Because he tried to usurp God's identity. God said that he wasn't him anymore but a terror. Also about the Spiritual king of Tyrus. Jesus is going to throw the beast & false prophet , abomination of desolation, Satan, etc... into the lake of fire. That is their end. Jesus hates false prophets / false doctrines & likens them to wolves in sheeps clothings. Read what Jesus said to the 7 churches in Revelation. They end up in the lake of fire too if they don't repent & receive the gift of eternal life. Those redeemed by the blood are the only ones in heaven. No one can be good enouph or do enouph, because even one sin will keep you out of heaven. There needs to be an atonement for sin. What Jesus did on the cross is sufficient.

Whapingmons, I love Mormons because the are people. As a matter of fact Mormons have hurt me because they don't want to hear my testimony of Jesus Christ & His deliverance. They hurt me because I cared for them, and when people you care about hurt you it wounds deep. But the Book of Mormon is a false doctrine of a false prophet. Jesus hates false doctrines that sneak into His Churches. They lead people away from Him & His message of grace. Read Revelation to the 7 churches.

I am a member of the LDS church. I would ask you to please stop spreading such false information. I have been a missionary and have exerienced every priesthood ordinance in the church. I can assure you that there is no "ladder of levels," and certainly not one that leads to lucifer.

I understand that since you claim to be a Christian, you must be trying to help us out. However, your information is not accurate and you are bearing false witness. If you are Christian, then why not use your time and knowledge to spread truth about the Gospel of Jesus Christ rather than wasting time on false claims.

Earlier you posted a question asking why people believe false accusations so easily.

One reason is that people like you post incorrect information on the internet and present it as truth. Other people come along and, for whatever reason, assume that it is true without ever bothering to research or study it out.

Again, if you are a Christian, why not testify of Christ? Why don't you ask uplifting or inspiring questions? Why try only to sow seeds of mistrust and animosity founded on falsehood? Your question will lead no one to Christ and therefore is counter productive to what your goal should be as a fisher of men.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

You are obviously misinformed. There is only one Jesus, we don't have our own. We believe in the Bible and know that Jesus is our savior. I have been Mormon all my life, and trust me, Lucifer is not part of our church. If people want to know what we really believe go to www.LDS.org

If I wanted to know about the Mormon church, I would ask a Mormon. Why don't you stick to what YOU believe? Or are you afraid that your beliefs would not withstand your criticisms?

Thank you for speaking the truth about yet another cult. Did you know that they also believe that Christ and satan are brothers?!
I pray against the spirit behind false religions in the Name of Christ.
