I want to give an explanation or description of pictures taken. After this I would like to send pictures by e mail. Please let me know if there is free program on the internet I can download. I will appreciate if the link could be sent. I would preffer a program which is user friendly.

Hi, you can use Google picasa to help your photography.
picasa is a Google's photo software. It's what should've come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video flips.
It's very easy to use and is free, just like Google

If the software you view your pictures won't do it. Do a copy & paste into MS word, publisher or power point with the picture and do it in that program.

Gnu has a program called GIMP - I've heard fabulous things about it, although I have not yet used it myself. It is free to download at http://www.gimp.org.
