they way i figure it,as the cowboys of the old west used to say,
they have neither the technology or the means to wage war with the U.S. the only thing that they could fight for is air after sticking their heads up their own rear-ends.

I'm not from that school of "kiss your butt good bye". but I do see the need to keep up our skills in making parking lots out of rogue country's.
This would be the only way to go at it against N.Korea. Daisy cutters for everything they have below ground, this does short work of it as far as a anti-personnel device, too. Hopefully, we have developed a better delivering system for these bombs. Pushing them out the back of a C-130 doesn't exactly smack of star wars, now does it!
I don't believe we can discount the prospect of small nuclear devices for this encounter. The trick here is, to make quick and short work out of annihilating a million man army.
For now, things seem to have calmed down, if you can believe what Kim Jong Il is saying. Frankly, I believe he is just parroting what China told him to say. I also believe that China came down on him pretty hard, to get him to blink, before the world community.

Iraq had the same # of troops as N Korea back in 90. The UN force wiped them out handily. I'm not concerned so much with N. Korea as I am with their trading partner and friend China.

yes. my TV works just fine so I will just fit it into my schedule and watch CNN instead of my regularly scheduled program. If North Korea could destroy the USA it would have already backed by China. Our military is the most powerful with weapons that we do not even know about. We could take the north out with a submarine. Ask me a real question.

Well Papa, you sure don't know how strong the good ole U.S.A. is do you. We can melt that shi**ty little place with a few old atomic bombs left over from WW2. I don't worry one little bit about any of those countries that want to talk tough. They are not even close to a match for us. Just a pesty little flea that we can scratch.

we arnt going to war with north korea ... better think about a war with iran though and skyrocketing fuel prices, and a possible mushrooming of the situation and the possibility of a draft though ... that is coming .. north korea, i seriously doubt.

Naw, I'm not worried. They can't hit a target with nuclear bombs any further East than Los Angeles and San Francisco. That's almost as far away as Iraq as far as I'm concerned.

the NK only have a handful of Nukes, worst case scenario, they use their nukes up, we retaliate, and then we mop up. Millions dead though. Plus they have no way to deliver a nuke yet, if im not mistaken, except maybe by aircraft. To my knowledge they dont have the technology to mount a nuke on a missle.

It is the perfect agenda for Bush!
I am sure they are sh**ing in their pants, never expecting to have to face off with another warmonger as themselves.
Sure does take the attention off of all the other terror and screw ups they are making. Wouldn't be surprised if they are in cahoots with the Koreans to stir up this whole thing and distract the world in a big fat lie.
