reason for my muslim jokes?

incase you are wondering, yes i do have a problem with muslims, they banter on about not being freely "able" to express their love for their religion in OUR country, and us british are not allowed to wear christian or catholic crosses round our necks in work places in OUR country!!

Adopt our religion if you come here, they say they find it hard getting accepted into our culture but they segregate themselves!! Putting those things over your head?? Now we're hardly going to stop and talk to one of those are we??

if they dont like it, they know where they can go!!

im an athiest, but i have strong feelings towards those who come to our country and are willing to adopt our country but not our culture! Its not kids wearing hoodies you need to worry about anymore!! Have you ever watched crime watch??? if you have then you'll notice 9 out of ten crimes are commited by people that are not of our race!! only one way to sort out our crime rates............. KICK EM OUT!!

Instead of overdosing on the Daily Mail, try getting to understand the real issues concerning British Muslims. I'm neither Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim or any other religion for that matter. But I get really frustrated with people like you who are obviously ignorant about who's country this is.

Try and understand that for many people who are non-Christian, this country is still theirs. You assume that because people dress a bit differently, are billinguial and have a brown skin colour, they're not from here!? Er.... no....

Also, you're banging on about this being a Christian nation.... how many native Brits do you know that go to church regularly every Sunday? How many people do you know that are familiar with the Bible? How many people do you know that live their life in accordance with the scriptures of the Good Book?

Yet how many people do you know that call themselves Christian twice a year - Easter (to indulge in Chocolate Eggs) and Chrismas (to get presents)? Being a "Christian" should be a way of life. A lot of the Muslims that you are criticising are only guilty of living up to the beliefs of their chosen religion. Sounds like you're scared of being confronted by people who actually believe in something, as it sounds like all your beliefs are founded in xenephobic ignorance.

Try taking a look inside yourself before trying to ridicule a whole race. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone (sorry - is that "Christian" notion wasted upon you....?

I think you have raised a very good awareness: how awfully dangerous it is to look at things from one point of view. We the white British don't have the monopoly of Britishness, we aren't even Christians; we don't forget that our modern wealth comes from exploiting other countries riches and work-force; we know what we are doing in Iraq just to get more oil into our 4wds or holiday caravans. It's an opinion that you are entitled to hold, and some part of it is valid.
But why say "Adopt our religion"? I have no religion, yet I am English, born and bred. Does this mean you want me to bend to your ways or you will find somewhere to send me to?

Wow. I am sensing some hostility. Well I am not Muslim, but here is what I do know. I am a CHRISTian and I want everyone to go to heaven with me. I would reconsider not talking to Muslims just because they wear different clothing, but consider getting to know them and eventually witnessing to them. Just a thought. People are people we all bleed the same color.

Lets see if I read you right, so anyone here should adopt our religion?, Is that the same thing the British did in India? Is that what they did when the missionarys went to Africa, did the British in the Middle East suddenly convert to their religion.
