EverClear pure grain alcohol! Alittle goes along way! It doesn't impart it's own flavor and mixes well while maintaining a "high" alcohol content.

Something like vodka that doesn't really have a flavor, or something that you'd want to combine with a particular flavor of Jello. For instance, you can make Mojito shots by combining rum with lime jello and adding some mint extract; you can make Jack and Cherry Coke shots by adding Jack Daniels to cherry jello that's made with using Coke as the liquid. Pretty much just use your imagination...you'll figure out something awesome!

2 cups Vodka
3 packages Jello with sugar
3 cups Water
Boil 3 cups of water then add jello. Mix jello and water until jello is completely disolved. Add the two cups of vodka and mix together. Pour mixture into plastic shot glasses and chill until firm. Then, eat away...

Try using 99 bananas or apples.
Trust me you will love the extra flavor and bang it gives the jello shots!

Use Vodka. It doesn't have a strong flavor, so as not to offset the jello flavoring.

Vodka is most common
Gin works
Tequila
Rum
Vodka works with any flavor of Jello
Gin works with lime or lemon
tequila works with lime or lemon
Rum works well with strawberry (or other *erry flavors)
Believe it or not Captain Morgans works well with cherry (or probably other *erry flavors)
2 cups hot water or hot juice
1 cup alcohol
1 6 ounce box of jello

i guess it depends on what kind of shots you want ,,my best one is 1 box of ORANGE PINE APPLE , and 3/4 CUP OF PEACH SCHNAPPS. it makes about 25 jello shooters ,have fun with what ever you make ,if it was good you will know in the a.m.

I would say use whatever is your favorite liquor.
but I also like the suggestion of peach schnaps.
