Why are people to uptight about breast feeding in public? And don't say that we can pump beforehand and use a bottle. If that's what you think then you don't have kids. Between feeding every two hours and and it taking 1/2 hours to feed them and another 15 to burp, there is no time to pump.

A woman's body is beautiful, whether she is a new mom, a potential sex partner, or a mom of 20 years. The beauty in a woman's body is what it is capable of and the soul that inhabits it. Don't allow other people and their stupid comments or dirty looks taint the way you see your body- as a mother or as a woman comfortable with her body and sexuality.

I don't see anything wrong in breastfeeding in public. Women show more of there body by their dressing than by breastfeeding. Cause when you breastfeed all the others respect you and don't peep. Cause anyway when a woman breastfeeds you can only see the nipple cause she covers the rest of her breast by her clothes and sometimes she can give milk by covering the baby's head so noone can see.

Sometimes it about comfort levels. I am currently breastfeeding my son, but I'm not comfortable juse whipping it out where ever I'm at. Usually I go into the restroom,or back to the car and feed him. Frankly, I think it's rude to just whip it out when you're at a resturant, but usually the ladies I see aren't trying to be remotely modest about breastfeeding.
