I can only tell you that a teacher of mine used to cycle an hour and a half after his evening Scout meeting every week to court a girl 15 miles away - and then cycle back, come rain come shine. He courted her for 3 years till they were married.

There must have been plenty of girls in his home town.

My goodness, whats so difficult about living 3 hrs. away. You can talk to her on the computer or phone every day. Surely u both have days off, if u work...a 3 hr drive is not a killer, u can drive to see her or visa-versa. The only problem I see, is if ur under the age of 16, then ur restricted in some of the above and beside that u would be too young to be so involved in a relationship of love. If ur mature, that bit of distance is no great barrier, with so many options available today.

This is an easy question. "Be a good boy, or you will lose " I understand long distance relationships are hard. However, if the person is worth it, only you can tell us. I know, I married a man who lived 150miles away from where I lived. If you are in love, the other girl isn't worth wasting a 5yr relationship over. If you don't want to hurt your girlfriend, then don't cheat on her. Give her up, or give her respect. You can't have your cake and eat it too. It's not fair-- to any of you. Good luck- Good boy

You might know already that distance is a huge relationship deterrent. So if that girl is closer, look of all the gas money you could save, and the commuting you may avoid.. go for it. I have many friends who have broken up with girlfriends just because they lived far away and it was tiring to pay visits to them or to drive them home.

You need to spend a few days alone and evaluate yourself and your feelings.
If the love is strong enough you will be willing to work out this long distance relatioship with your girlfriend for the time being. But, if during your time alone you realize that you want to explore new things, you'll have to explain to her that under the circumstances it is too difficult to maintain a realtionship with her for the time being.
