Jesus is not God. If he were, wouldn't he be sitting on his own throne? If Jesus is God, why would Heb. 2:9 say that during his time on the earth that he was "made a little lower than angels." Has God ever been lower than angels? Of course not. Since the trinity was formulated over 300 years after the Bible was completed, some people have become so confused about Jesus. They say he is the Son of God, and then turn right around and call him God or God the Son. According to RJoy, God is actually sitting beside himself on the throne. Why does the Bible not mention the holy spirit sitting next to both of "himself"? Now do you see the lunacy of the trinity doctrine?

He can't be God and he isn't God. People should consider what the Bible really teaches about the identity of God and his Son and God's active force or power.
Here is something to think about also:
Jesus was dead for the better part of three days. If Jesus is God and was dead for that long--then who was ruling in heaven all that time? If the holy spirit is also God, then it was dead too. So there would have been no God alive to pray to those three days, no God to do anything for anyone. Satan could have taken over the entire universe since "God" was dead. Satan is powerful and could have caused complete chaos for the earth, worse than we see now, if there was no God more powerful to prevent him from doing so.
This Scripture also shows that Jesus cannot be God--""No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." (Mark 13:32 ) NIV
If Jesus were God who knows all things, then he would know the day and hour, but he doesn't because Jesus is not God. And the holy spirit is not even mentioned.
Christendom has misled so many people by teaching them such a false pagan doctrine. If only people could come to know the true God (Psalms 83:18) and who he really is. Jesus tried to tell people about his Father and that they should worship his Father alone.
There are many Scriptures that state that Jesus sat at God's right hand including Ephesians 1:20--"which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places"
Two reasons people believe in such doctrines as the trinity and the hellfire doctrine is found at:
2 Timothy 4:3-4--"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." and at John 12:39-40--"Therefore they could not believe, because Isaiah said again: “ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, Lest they should see with their eyes, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.”
And you are correct when you question Satan tempting Almighty God--No one could ever do that, but Satan could tempt God's Son and he tried.

How could He be any less than God, since He went to heaven and is seated in the place of Highest Honour?
Remember, there is only ONE God ... Who has revealed Himself as three "persons".
One God: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
Jesus is NOT the Son in the sense that some think; rather, the Father - Son expression is one of RELATIONSHIP. The First Person of the Godhead and the Second Person of the Godhead are in relationship to each other as a Father to a Son.

Basically!
The Father(GOD), The Son(Jesus), and teh Holy Sprit(The Belif)
They are just three different forms of the one true GOD, GOD is the person that would lead peopel to the afterlife and is undying and aids people in heaven. Jesus is the mortal form of GOD that was guided by GOD to come down and help the world in a physical form. The SPRIT is the thing that can never leave earth and is teh one thing that links all cristians together the actual belief in GOD and teh sould of christian beliefs and so this is most probably the part of GOD that produces "Miracles" on earth.

Good question. It perplexes a lot of people. The answer is that, though Jesus and God are both the same, they are also different in some respects. God is God, the eternal, omnicient, and invincible. Jesus, however, is God clothed in the flesh. Though Jesus is, indeed, Lord, he's a different manifestation of him. He's sinless, but he's also human and, as such, is subject to temptations of the flesh. He also doesn't know everything in the universe, unlike God.
It's hard to think about, but think of it this way: Jesus is a sort of manifestation of God. Just as God can be the Father and the Holy Spirit at the same time, he can also be the Son. You know how you can pinch off a bit of marshmallow and drizzle it with chocolate, but it is still a part of that marshmallow that you pinched off? Well, you can say that God took a bit of himself and clothed it in flesh. Jesus is still God, but just a different version of him, if you will. He's human.
Because of this, Jesus doesn't know everything. When he knew the time drew near for him to die, he prayed that God would allow it not to be so. When he was on the cross, he didn't know God's intention in forsaking him. Still, he always followed God's will. But we know Jesus is God because he's said in Scripture "I and the Father are one." (John 10:30) He and God are not only one in will and power, but they are literally the same.
Perhaps a scripture will clarify this. In the Book of John, it says "In the beginning, the Word was God, and the Word was with God, and the Word became flesh." So, there you are. Jesus was with God but was also in God. Imagine putting back that piece of marshmallow back with the bigger part. In that case, that piece is part of that marshmallow, but is still that marshmallow. In the same way, when Jesus ascended into Heaven, he became a part of God (who was still in Heaven) again.
I hope that helped.

Just as the heart can be said to be one with the Human and yet a separate entity in itself, so too can Jesus be said to be one with God whilst also being distinct. God is a compound entity composed of all that is, working together like a cosmic organism. Jesus, as a member of that organism (in idea if not in body), is both God and Himself.
The real question is not "how can Jesus be God" but rather "how can God possibly have a finitely sized throne of his own"?

Jesus is God's son, which is why he was sitting next to his father's throne. Jesus is also God. Read John 1:1-2, 14. The Word (Jesus) was with God, and the Word was God.

The father the son and the holy spirit make up the whole of God. It is the same as your body and spirit make a living soul. You are more than just flesh and blood. If your body dies and people refer to it as there is john doe...it is your body but it is not the whole of who you are. so while it is you it is a part of you.
