find out from her parents what she is into, my daughters 15 months, she loves fifi and the flowertots, noddy, peppa pig, she has talking fifi dolls, she takes to bed, peppa pig car, the best thing to do, is find out what character she likes, and go in a big toy shop and see whats available, oh is she walking yet? a small dolls pram and dolly? i know my daughter likes anything messy and noisy! no matter what you get, she will play with it as it is new. christmas is soon, so the shops are full of toys! good luck, i know it's hard trying to get toys, i have to think of what to get my babs for xmas!

Um, you've still got six months to think about it, and believe me she will change a lot in that time. Even at 2 you cannot guarantee what a child will like; she might like the wrapping paper a present came in more than any of her gifts! Ask her mum what she thinks: clothes, toys or something educational such as books.

why not try something educational... fisher price do a great range of learning toys for babies of her age which are safe...i got my grandson a talking book....it had animal noises and talking numbers and textures and nursery rhymes, also adding up buttons...kids learn fast and i think she would love it....or try getting her something like a Wendy house, or some kind of climbing frame or slide for the garden...i would always recommend fisher price.. or even a bed house....it's built to go over the child's bed and had bright pictures on the inside..it's safe and easily cleaned....

Get her a silver engraved bangle that is adjustable so she can wear it when slightly bigger.
I got my goddaughter one for her christening it had twinkle twinkle little star on the outside - it was only a cheapy from argos - but i got it engraved with you are my star & always will be - always will love you auntie (insert name here)
Her and her mum loved it.
I hope you get on ok with finding something and i hope my suggestion helped.

in my area, there's a musuem called The Please Touch Museum, which is designed to stimulate the senses, and it's alot of fun for adults too. Created for children in her age group. Perhaps look into places like this one in your area.

I remember my son at this age. As he was walking, he loved to pull things on wheels behind him. He had this mother duck and babies behind, all connected with a string and he would just pull, pull, pull them as he walked !
