I'm a Baptist, I grew up believing in the Trinity. It's not just a Catholic belief or any other, it's Christian.

Yes, it is Christian in general, because the doctrine is actually found in the Bible. So those sects who don't believe in the Trinity, are actually not believing the Bible.
The belief in the Trinity is not just unique to the Catholic Church, but even in my church, which is 7th-Day Adventist (which is the complete polar opposite of the Catholic Church), we also believe in the Trinity, because we believe the Bible.

The Trinity is not a church teaching, it is in the Bible and is a Bible based teaching. Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Baptist is not a religon, Catholic is not a religon. Christianity is a religion. I was raised Catholic, but I am now a Baptist, because the Baptist denomination follows the teachings of the Bible closer to me. But they are both Christian. Now mormonism and other new age religons are not Christian because of 2 things, (1) they say that Jesus is not God, and (2) they say that you can go to heaven by doing good works.

The trinity was a dicision by some priests called the Nicean Creed (don't know how its spelled). It's something religions adopted. There are Christians that believe that God and Jesus Christ are two seperate and distict beings. Only one can be true.

Catholics are Christians-----just ask any of my Catholic friends. They think it strange people on here so often say Catholics are not Christians. The Catholic Church started the whole Christian thing. It is downright dumb to say they are not Christians.

And, this is a Christian belief, no matter what church you belong to.
