What would you say - if you didn't want to be too rude about it - to some creepy old dude staring at you for hours when you're out. I would love to say many awful things to him, but I'm trying to go at this in a more adult way without insults.

Girl, I work at Hooters so I know. Hold their gaze and lift your eye brow as if to say, "What the f*ck are you looking at, buddy?!" This usually works, unless the person is a stalker (i.e., "dangerous") in which case, you should tell the police to protect yourself.
If you have to say something, I'd be like "Do you have a problem?! You need to quit staring at me, right this second." With your hands on your hips should place quite an empathize on your feelings.

Yes, it is very uncomfortable. I'm 18 and I have 40-50 year old men stare at me sometimes and it's just revolting. You feel objectified.

Well, Girlie, to bring you up to date, men are stimulated by visual and mental stimuli. A young attractive woman qualifies. It doubles depending on the type of clothes she is wearing and how tight they are.

So if you are in tight jeans, bare middle, tight little tank, then expect men of any age to look at you more than a little. The more conservative your clothes, the less likely you will be stared at.

The only mature way of dealing with something like this is to ignore him like a stop sign. Eventually he'll get tired of staring if he gets no response at all.

If outside of your home, stare back at him and (hopefully if you have a cell phone) and pretend you are calling for help on your cell phone. If it's someone in a car, pretend you are writing down thier license plate number and then act like you're calling on your cell phone. Works everytime for me

Don't worry, young lady! Maybe he is admiring your youth.

In a few more years, you will be sharing that same spot with him, Old, Creepy, and Haggardly.

I just hope that the youth of that future time will speak more kindly of you in your ancient age.
