It depends where you start..some have 30 days and some have 31

In Math.,unless specifically mentioned,we accept that every month has 30 days and every year has 365 days,hece your answer is 180/30 or 6 months

In calendar months, it's 6. If you're talking school months, there are roughly 20 days of school per month, so 9 months. Except that in school, there are usually some weeks off for Christmas vacation, Spring Break, plus days off here and there for teacher conference days, nation-wide holidays, etc. A school year is therefore usually longer than 9 months.
