First it is not just Marines that "lie". If you ask anyone who is not afraid to share how they truely feel either civilian or service members at least 50% would tell you that they probably wouldn't want to go over to Iraq. They don't get "beaten up" as someone suggested. Our military is trained to serve our country as well as help others when asked to and when they enlist they know what they are enlisting for, they may not agree with it but they VOLUNTARILY do so.

Possibly, not a change in outlook. He was simply telling all of you what you wanted to hear. Going to war would be a tough decision. If he has just finished boot camp, then I doubt that he has a choice. God be with him.

Making up more stories about your nephew and the Marines, huh? When are you going to learn that nobody believes these stories you make up? And I defiantly think you're the LAST person that should be talking about someone else lying, especially considering all the lies you've told on here.

To say the tell lies is stupid!! It is just a saying to build up confidence and esprit-DE-corp among new solders. Ask any solider about want to go to war,and they will tell you they are the last to want to go.Cause they are the ones to fight and die. Every branch of service has sayings or chants like the one you state,it is to motivate and bring them together as one.I hope your nephew does not have to go,but if he does just know those other marines will pull together as one big family. I've been there, they act as brothers.Tell me who or what would you fight harder for?your brothers and sisters.

First it's in human nature to lie. Secondly look at the environment he's training in. The camp will be getting hyped up to go and fight, but when he's at home without the influence of other soldiers he may be hesitant.

Seems like through all the evidence we have shown in this place ove the past months... the thing more probable is you are telling a lie on this one... your history of fabrications runs rampant... all anyone has to do is check your past questions and see how we catch you constantly
I have no doubt that this is yet another complete fabrication by you

They have to look tough otherwise they get beaten up. Can you imagine him saying "Please sir, I'm afriad of going to Iraq" in front of the other lads?! They'd batter him - even though privately their trousers are probably filling up as well! Anyway, in short it's a macho guy thing!

They are not allowed to criticize their superiors, including the president. Saying the war is a moronic waste of human life would not be considered proper.
