boys are arguing. I need an answer. Does it have anything to do with choosing what goes in it? Or is it hot vs cold ingredients?

i think it's more the method than what's inside.

wrap could have any number or things inside, but is a soft, usually open, sometimes wrapped in a tube, outer shell of pita or sometimes flour tortilla, often cold.

fajita is a method of preparation where all the ingredients are brought to the table, usually, or maybe always, hot, and then the diner puts them inside their tortilla, usually flour, themselves.

a burrito is wrapped, usually a flour tortilla and it is cooked.

so i'd say there definitely is a difference and it's not so much the contents as the method, although burritos and fajitas are more often associated with mexican food and wraps are often associated with 'healthy' food.

A fajita contains either chicken or beef with onions and green peppers.

A burrito can consist of any meat, beans, rice, lettuce, and cheese.

Those two are considered hot dishes. A wrap is like a normal sandwich except the fact you're using a tortilla as the bread. That's a cold thing.

A wrap is a burrito filled with ingredients that are not Mexican or Tex-Mex. Fajitas are just the strips of meat themselves with the onions and peppers.
