how long do u cook a top round roast for?and what temperature?

seeing how i dont know how large the roast is .....i would seer it first in a pan then place in oven using the dry heat method of cooking at 350 degrees and cook until the internal tempature is 140 150 and let rest 15 to 20 minutes before slicing...it wwill cook as it rests.......

It depends on the method. If you're looking for fall-apart roast, then cook at 200 degrees Farenheit for 3 hours. For a firmer texture, cook at 350 degrees Farenheit for one hour in your oven (braising). Internal temp should be between 150 and 170 degrees Farenheit, depending on how well done you want it. You can also stew it in broth in a crock pot. Set at highest temperature with plenty of liquid, and leave over night.

I cover mine with foil and bake 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes - prefer medium rare to rare...

I brown mine on all sides in a deep pot,add onions, carrots,potatoes,seasings,and hot water not to much(just to cover) and cook on med-low for 2-3 hrs and it will come out moist&good
