Talk to your school counselor or tell your parents to make an appointment with your pediatrician. Your doctor can make a referral to a counselor, and if depression is interfering with your schoolwork, activities and friendship, your doctor might prescribe an antidepressant with the advice of a psychologist.

At such an young age you are depressed!!?. It has all to to do with your thinking. Just think positive. Read an inspirational book or listen to some favourite music. Or just have some goodtime with your close friends. Depression is just like passing clouds. Remember everything is temporary. This too shall pass.
After a little calmness is achieved think what is the cause and avoid those things that lead to a depression. Also note depression is very common in the world and can be tackled effectively. Be strong. Distract your mind for a while. Everything will be Okay. Laugh it away.

Everyone else is right--TALK to someone about it. In the meantime you can keep a journal of your feelings.

Exercise is also a good way to help you shake the blues but the first step is sometimes the hardest to take. Do you ride a bike? Do you like to walk in the woods or in the local mall? If you have a camera, this is a beautiful time of the year to go out and take pictures.

Sometimes too much sugar in your diet can make you feel "down"--what's your diet like?

Helping other people can help you forget your own troubles and they will be very appreciative to know that they received help, too.

Believe me, I've been there, too, and you do feel alone at times. You are NOT alone! Just look how many nice people have answered your question so far!

God is always with you, too.

All will be well--you have our promise on that.

Keep in touch, honey.

First, don´t lock yourself in a secluded space for too long, second, try to shoot some hoops or something in other words distract yourself. Talk to somebody that wants to listen and keeps an objective perspective of things. Finally, do something about it, try to trace the reasons of your feeling down, and at the same time move on, depression can wrap you up in no time if you let it. You`ll be lost in a limbo of emotions and thoughts.

dont keep your emotions bottled up! you're too young to be seriously depressed, enjoy your childhood! i am a teenager and know the pressures that can be placed on you, but i also know that you have the inner strength necessary to help yourself. dont make the same mistake other depressed people do- remain silent and turn to artificial stimulants such as drugs and alcohol. tell yor parents, friends, even the school guidance counselor! you have your whole life ahead of you to be whatever you want, and you dont want to be depressed.

What are you thinking about that depresses you. Then change to a different topic.. one that is a bit more pleasant. You will need to develop a bit more control of what you allow your mind to do to you.. If you don't like it change it.. that is your choice. If you don't control your mind, it will control you!!!!
