My sister has a boyfriend whom she invited to the movies. He stood her up and later said that somebody ran over him. I told her that he should have tried harder and made a better excuse. I say she should dump him and move on. What do you think??

Sonebody ran him over? well.. did u even ask is it true??
if it was and u didnt care to ask dumping him is kind of inconsiderate and jumpin to conlusions like. If he tried to make an excuse that sounded better that means hes pretty good at lying not trying hard. That would make it worse so think harder next time when you think your sister should dump him. have to thin on both sides not just one. depending on the circumstances she should or shouldnt dump him. you didnt exactly tell enough so i dont know. give him a chance.

well has he done that before? did he try and call her? did he look injured enough that he couldnt at least meet her there and maybe go out for a drink instead? Well if no call and he has stood her up b4 dump the jerk..he may have been ran over and i am sorry bout that, but a call would be nice, if he was not in the hospital or at the police station then he should have met her anyway even if he wasnt up to seeing the movie he could have told her in person. or again CALLED!

It sounds like he has already dumped your sister so she needs to forget this guy and get on with the business of living her life and sharing it with someone who will appreciate her.

not your issue...it's up to her, and if you decide for her and she takes your advice and she considers it wrong at some point, she will blame you the rest of your lives. I'm sure you have enough of your own stuff to deal with. Just listen...don't advise.
