HI! I am In 8th grade... I moved to a a new house and had to switch schools last year. i live only 25 minutes from the high school that i want to go to... near my old neighborhood. There are high chances of getting a girl in that school. My parents said if i can get a 3.75 GPA all year long than i can go there. But if i dont then im goin to some other gay highschool that i hate! So basically i have three weeks to get 3 B`s to A`s. How can i do that? What will help me focus? I am a pretty bad test taker. How can i study for tests? HOW CAN I GET GREAT GREADES??? I NEED HELP!!!

take good notes in class. review them at night before you sleep, and during class breaks. you don't have to be anal about it though. carry note cards/ study cards with you. on one side, put the term, or the question. on the other, put the definition, or the answer. carry them with you and flip through them whenever you're standing in line, or are just waiting in general. the key is repetition. write it, read it, say it, record it and listen to yourself say it. this stuff works really well for subjects like English, Literature, Science, History, Spanish, etc. Even math, to an extent.
everyone learns differently. sounds like you're a pretty good student anyway, so you've got a lot going for you. think of the subjects you're doing well in...what makes you do well in those classes? is it because it just interests you more, or do you have a natural aptitude for them? either way, you can train yourself to form good study habits in any class. and trust me....you're rather wise to start this now before you get to college. if you don't know how to study in college, you'll be sunk.

Ok listen I'm in eighth grade also and what I seem to do to get good grades is to tell my stuff to me friends. Like I put my time to homework and stuff like that while talking on the phone with some of my frieds who I might have the same classes with them. Listen I have a 4.0 GPA..lol So I have many friends. Make friends in your classes and do homework with them. Make friends with your teachers. That ALWAYS works. If you are like a shy person, then ask like a gurl or something to help you even if you don't really need help. Go for the nice gurls. If you do all you work you might be able to only have to study only a lil bit on tests. So you're cool right? So it shouldn't be hard. Its all about determination. and friends. I hate school. period. But I love my friends. With my boyfriend I love going to school and love "learining". Actually study for tests tho. It will help you big time. And study almost every little detail if you don't explode from a brain overload..lol...Also work for a "A". Because if you work for a "B" you might get a "C". But if you work for a "A" you might be a "B" and it might be ok. And that gay high school that your talking about can't be that bad..lol..

Revise, and be careful how you do it... To get good grades you need to stimulate both sides of your brain... The left and right... Which means whilst studying eat hard boiled sweets, have certain smells around you, and listen to music, (music with no words otherwise it gets distracting) Brains work best in 45 minute slots... So study for 45 minutes, take a break then go back to it... On the night before the test, don't study... Same as the morning of the test... Study over time, don't try and cram it all in the night before... Its impossible to do! Trust me... Just take your time, and when you go into the exam don't panic, if you revise you'll know the stuff on the paper, and won't need to panic. =) Good luck, hope you get the girl.

get in a fight at your school and get yourself kicked out. you're 13, nothing will happen to you except for being grounded, but that's not a big deal since it'll look good on your social record at the new school. all the girls will wanna know why you got kicked out of your last school.
