First off, if you want accurate opinions get rid of your soap box paragraph.
Second, Korea and Viet Nam we were winning the military battles, but we lost the political battles when the Journalists persuaded the american people we were going to lose.
This war we have been winning in Iraq from a military perspective has been fairly easy, actually. However, the american public isn't buying into the bs that we need to be there, unfortunatly now we're there we're commited.
The Democrats are going to win in 2008, then a draft is going to be kicked in once we move out of Iraq, and the entire middle east turns to crap- so we're going to be fighting this war for a very long time. Get over it, get used to it, and I strongly encourage you to get off your butt and go to the rifle range and learn to shoot- you'll need the skills

Well maybe if you stuided a little more of world affairs,you might be able to answer a question like this yourself.To think Iran is "not" a threat to world peace is as dumb as your question.As far as Isreal,why must you dislike people because of their religon?Yes we could own the world if we really wanted,but we don't.When ever there is a crisis the world runs to us for help,and no matter how much we give the liberals say its not enough or maybe to heavy handed.So to answer your question we have won many conflicts since korea,but the ignort or jealous of our economy or freedom look for ways to show our mistake!Just wait till the next crisis and see who the world runs to for help.

The 4th largest army in the world was sent packing in 100 days, a complete route, too bad Bush I called a cease fire that would've saved some Kurds and other rebels, but oh well, no ones perfect. (and it wasn't even 'total' war, just a sideline to history.)

Because our military is filled with nothing but lazy degenerates. They have it good with having so much entertainment like video games and not enough disipline like the old time military. We are the best fighting force ever fielded in history...
It's the war we don't always win and we usually lose it to the press......

When you fight someone bigger than you, he approaches you with brute force, but you being smaller look for his weaknesses.This is the way america sees other countries.I personally don't think we try to understand other cultures, they seem to fight with a purpose, we fight for politics.
