This girl broke up with my friend about 9 months ago because he was abusive to her. she already had another boyfriend but her and i became really close, we talked about dating and i even took her to prom but since she already was going out with someone she wanted to be friends. over the summer we grew apart and just recently started growing on each other. this girl has a restrainging order on my friend cause he was so obsessed with her he went to jail twice for harrassment. A week ago i found out that they had been secretly meeting and having sex and planning on getting back together after he knew i liked her. he told me he didn't do anything wrong but he did everything wrong. i asked her about it and she swore to me it never happened that he was making it all up...

If I were you, I would stay away from both of them. Seems like there is alot of unresolved issues. Don't get involved.

This girl sounds like trouble, unless she gets help. I'd wager to say she has poor self-esteem, to the point of being stuck in a victim role. It would be hard to ever fully trust her, as she keeps going back to her vomit...unless your old buddy is just lying for some reason. But I doubt it. She probably will not change until he, or someone else beats her silly, and she is then thus motivated to get the help she needs with her boundaries & feeling about her own self-worth.
Let go of her...she is not worth the drama in your life.

Obviously, u don't believe your girl, otherwise you wouldn't ask the question. From what you are saying, seems they both are playing games on you, more the girl than your ex-friend. Get out of there and find yourself better company.

dump him! He's no friend & the girl is just looking for more beatings if she continues to see him.
