It's a lonely hearts scam preying on desperate people. Probably worth a shot.

Look DO NOT go on Eharmony. Online profiles are fake. A person rarely tells the truth about who they are (do you think they'll admit they're rude etc. I know this one girl who was/is evil, very bad attitude and she got married not too long ago, she went on eharmony. I think her husband now knows the real her, I can see it in his face. How sad NO find someone at school, work etc. Someone you can spend time with and get to know the real them.

I would say that of all the sites I tried, that was the best one- but online dating is only successful for 1 out of 50 people. Not many people have met someone online they will spend the rest of their lives with.

All I know is that e-harmony worked for my mom. She met a great guy, and they've now been dating for a while and they're great together. It's worth a shot. E-harmony is more of a serious dating site compared to some others, which is what you're looking for.
