I think that in specific instances an individual Christian can trust an individual Muslim.
However, there seems to be so much hostility and mistrust between the two religions, as well as a fundamental difference of belief, that I don't think that either one can truly and honestly trust the other. They're too busy bashing and trying to prove "one up" on the other.

No more or less than he/she can trust any other person on this planet. There is good and bad in every person. Religion merely accentuates people's natural qualities in my opinion. I.e., it makes "good" people even better and "bad" people even more close-minded. I have spent the last few days in a mosque with my muslim friends. And I went into a church this morning. Well noone's made me death threats yet ;P
Personally I would far sooner trust a muslim than the average non-religious person. Of course there are Muslims who don't follow their religion. But generally, at least religious people have an incentive to treat you well due to their system of rules they should adhere to, and believe they will be punished if they break them. Whereas someone with no religion only has their conscience to protect them, or social rules and official laws. But national laws often don't cover personal ethics, just general issues ie. if I steal your girlfriend, noone is going to fine me. If you confide a secret in me and I post it on the internet, I won't be arrested.
The question is, why do you think you can trust a Christian any more than a Muslim, or any more than the next person? Or should a devoted Muslim trust a Christian? Should a devoted Christian trust anyone? Should anyone (esp. a non-Christian) trust a devoted Christian? Should I trust you? :)
With these kinds of thoughts, we only create a more fragmented society. Trust and society are among the most basic building-blocks of any society. Let's all learn to get beyond the stereotypes and learn to trust one another. Because if you don't trust me I won't trust you. And then coexistence is not possible.

Before trusting anyone you should know about the other perosn to some extent and sometimes religion has nothing to do with it.
There are extremists in every religion so be sure that you are dealing with a non-extremist muslim.

Can a devoted Christian TRUST a non-devoted Christian? Or for that matter trust anyone else? You have to trust yourself on this one.

I would trust a Muslim as much as I would trust any other person. There are extremists in any group of people. that make a group look bad.

As much as we can trust anyone else.As for why we lock the doors to our churches at night in some cities, have you heard of vandalism? It is not just one group who is guilty of this.

of path they are able to. I actual have extremely some Christian acquaintances who I totaly have confidence, and additionally my Christian well being care expert, who I have confidence dearly. that is not significant in the event that they are Christian, it relies upon on the guy your giving your friendship. There are stable and evil between each and every physique, inspite of what faith your in.
