Why do some of the full/front lace wigs sold on ebay cost only a few dollars (some even $2) and others up to $500. What is the reason in this range of pricing. I am looking to buy one and I dont want to make a bad decision.

the ones that you see for $2 are not lace front wigs they are just like the store bought wigs but they put them in that category so that you would want to buy them. The more expensive ones are usually the real thing. You need to make sure that you see pictures of there actual work and that it's not pictures of Celebrities. There are really only a hand full of good vendors on EBay. Ask allot of questions. Hope that helped.

Hi Lissa, To answer your questions the best thing I can say is that you need to decide what you want to do with your wig. If it's just wear it then synthetic is the way to go. If you want to curl and straighten it then human is the way to go. Both will last up to a year if you by quality products and treat them well... which leads onto my next answer. 6 weeks is too long to wear a wig without removing it. Yes you can buy adhesives that will last that long (you may need to touch up glued areas at the nape of your next if you live somewhere hot or exercise or swim a lot) but to be honest you need to look after your own growth hair if you have it, or your scalp if you don't have hair - it will need to be cleansed. I recommend the site below because it's not about trying to make you look like a celebrity - The (African American) TV show hosts and singers on sites that try and sell you wigs without any information are used because those women mainly wear lace wigs - which is why they can tie their hair back into slick ponytails without tracking grooves (which you'd get if wore weaves). It looks like the hair is growing out of their heads. If you buy the right shade of lace and buy one with baby hairs, then no one will know it's a wig - I kid you not. The only other thing is look at the link below which is a content/information based site - it's not trying to sell you anything - it just informs you. It may be an idea to spend a smaller amount of money on a synthetic wig until you feel more confident to move onto a human hair wig. Hope that helps Chaz

mostly the diff is human hair or synthetic..hand tied or machine...find brand of wig being sold then look them up on their web site to find out more info..also some synthetic wigs can be style with electrical tools and some cant..those that can cost more..
