My daughter has had her braces on now for more then a year and a half, her ortho said she needs them on for approximatly 3 yrs , maybe longer, the reason being her overbite is very large, how he determined this was by her side profile, normally a side profile your nose and your chin should line up , I really never noticed this until he pointed it out, also if this isn't completley corrrected by then, he said theres 2 other options, either they will break the jaw and set it properly, or she can get her chin corrected by inplants surgorey the same stuff they used for beast implants..

Depends on the severity of each case. Both of my kids wore them for 8 years each. It took that long to get all their teeth in place and straight.

Your bite, like if you have an over or underbite. And for some people, it may take longer for the teeth to straighten. It depends from person to person.

Well if you have an overbite and gaps they need to correct each problem seperatly.

Depends on how bad your problem is,,,,,,, may take longer to correct.
