They don't seem to be going at any other religion with this amount of emotional energy. Are these two like cats and dogs in that they are natural enemies? Or is just on here?

It's because there is a fundamental difference of opinion between the two that can't co-exist with the other.
As a Christian, I am offended by what I believe to be false teachings of islam and the disgusting example of muhammed. I believe in the one true God and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.
That statement is offensive to most, if not all, muslims. They don't believe in the fact that Jesus is the Son of God, and is God.

the basic problem here is that if one believes in one god, then anyone who believes differently must be at the very least be seriously misguided. Given that both christians and muslims are the most intolerant and closed minded bastards on the planet then obviously there is no hope of the two reconciling anything.
Personally I wish that both groups had the balls to fight it out once and for all and preferably wipe each other out and leave the rest of the world in peace.....neither religion has ever done any good for humanity, and has only served to enslave it to the twisted and paranoid views of the few extreme sickos that rule these religions

People are sad. This question shows how terrible human beings are. Look, Christianity, Islam and Judaism are very similiar. One god, Abraham and EVEN between Islam and Christianity a belief in Jesus. Theses Abrahamaics faiths need not fight. For each follower of these religions you are hurting the prophet Mohammed, The Healer Jesus and the lawmaker Moses

Muslims don`t consider Christians to be liars, we have coptic Christians living with us since the middle ages
the real liars are the westerns who claim that they are following the Christ but they really don`t
was the Crusaders a Christian act??? No it wasn`t they even killed Christian Arabs so it was an attrocity commited in the name of the Cross
what about what Bush is doing right now, Is is Christianity??? definatley not!!!!
Oh, & please don`t tell me that the west is Christian, because Pornography & homosexuality which exists in the west is against the bible`s teachings, so think twice before saying that you are christians!!!!!!

I am a Christian and I do not think that Muslims are liars because they are Muslims. I have had privilege to get to know many Muslims I can say I love.

Hey, the evidence speaks for itself,
never trust a muslim, they act all nice and peaceloving to your face all the while plotting your demise...............
(kidnappings and beheadings, entrapments, innocent looking unassuming little arabs with bombs strapped to them--they like them to look as unassuming as possible like children and women, making friends in America and taking flying lessons before they commit mass murder) ...you know.:-)
You might especially never want to trust a Muslim if you're a Jew.

actually i wouldnt call a christian a liar... they believe in wht we believe except for the prophet mohamad, and the fact that jesus is a god.. or son of a god... but excpet that we believe in their holy book, the true one...but actually in our holy book, we believe that christian.. are more like us and more friendly than any other religion....

I never called them liars. I'm sure a true Christian wouldn't have hate for anybody or any religions.

Well Muslims look at America and say, "OMG! Evil empire!" and we say, "OMG! Justice-less criminals!". It's truly hard to tell, but if we could all get along, then it'd be all right. Good question.
