i think the big dog food has a greater amount of fat and proteins, so it will probably make your chihuahua gain weight. you should try to feed them their own food in separate rooms. give them both a specific amount of time to eat, and if they haven't finished their meal in that time, take it away. the next time you feed them, they will learn that they must eat their food in that amount of time or else go hungry.

welll why dont you buy somethig else for youre little dog instead like a cans foods more easily to chew with and you wont worrying about your chihuahua giong not choked with any thing else gotta harm . i dont think you should keep feeding your small dog with big hard size of dry dog foods , might be hard to chew with it teeth in .why dont you try the pet market see if you can find a different kind of brand foods that youre dog might like to eat .

it should be perfectly fine, i fed my chihuahua and german sheperd the same food. it was small morsels but dog food goes by age. so if you got them around the same time. u can feed them puppy food when they are young and then move them up to adult. its not going to make him sick or anything.

um i think so... i think the big dog food is separate is because its really big compared to small dog food!! but i would assk your vet..or try it but if the chiwawa starts reacting to the food...i would stop- and take him to the vet because he might have a allergic reaction to something in the food

i dont think the size of the food really matters as long as the lil dog isn't a puppy.....Puppies need bitesize but if it is an adult dog its ok!
