I believe that you are referring to begging here on Yahoo Q&A! I have never heard of anyone making any money but I believe some mey have, I have seen these requests, usually asking for a dollar to be sent to their email address through Paypal. I'm sure they are not disclosing if they made any money because they don't want a flood of competition and anyone who gave would probably keep it under their hat also for any number of reasons. I'll tell you what I'll do. I'll run a begging add and if I make anything besides a bunch of smart comments I'll post the results! Peace Out!!

The only begging I have ever done is to beg my kids to shut up!!!!
I have heard that it can be quite a lucrative business and apparantly gangs run the best begging spots in London. I have even heard of immigrant women drugging their kids and saying the kid is poorly a that they need money for medicine (rubbish of course they are all coining it in in benefits and wouldn't think twice about using the NHS!).

I know of noone in particular. But there is this guy and his woman who go begging in town, I think maybe they are benefiting, because if they weren't, they would have stopped by now.

the question is moronic. focus on getting a job and earning a living rather than focusing for one moment on begging for bucks. panhandling is for losers even if they make out on it. how anyone can look in the mirror when they are begging is beyond me.
