I was raised Roman Catholic. At twenty seven I began exploring other religions. Let me tell you. Please don't look for their acceptance. (I am for the preservation of ALL Religions) But you will not find true love where nothing but 'banishment to Hell' has been taught.

They will tell you 'Yes we will love you'. They are giving you pity for the sinful existence you have chosen (in their minds).

Find your Love in God alone. There need be no religion but your own. It is how you treat others. It is whether or not you can be truthful to yourself and others. It is accepting everyone. Not out of pity for their eternal damnation, but out of thwe understanding that they are different and they too deserve love and salvation.

Of course, beloved.

Christians are commanded to love...
the Lord - Mark 12:30; John 16:27
our neighbors - Luke 10:27
our enemies - Matt. 5:44
righteousness and mercy - Ps. 45:7; Mic. 6:8

Christians are also commanded not to judge others, but to simply tell the world of God’s judgment —that God (not the Christian) has judged all the world as being guilty before Him (Romans 3:19,23).

The biblical way to express God’s love is to hold up the mirror of God’s Law; and then give the Good News of the incredible grace of God in Christ.

Do you consider yourself to be a good person? Most people do. Take the Good Person Test at http://www.livingwaters.com/good/
You have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

By the way, my best friend is gay. I would not love him very much if I did not tell him the Truth, would I? I cannot change God's Law, and I cannot change my friend. All I can do is love him, pray for him, and tell him the truth. That is what I have done for you too, my friend.

To be Christian, is to be Christ-Like. Christ loved all, even those who persecuted him on the cross.

As an African American, as well as a Christian, I can truly sympathize with others, especially homosexuals, who are persecuted for no real reason at all. We (blacks) were hosed down, and brutalized because we stood for and desperately wanted to be treated as equals. We (Christians) were hunted down and thrown into the lion's den because of what we believed.

So Yes, A Gay can be loved by Christians, and he absolutely should!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The verse doesn't say that God only loves Christians or religious people. The verse doesn't say that God only loves righteous or church going people. The verse doesn't say that God only loves Bible-thumpers. The Word of God is clear that God loves the "world" (and that includes everyone). No matter whom you are, God truly loves you.

Absolutely as I understand it Christians should not judge what you do but love you through it.
But history has proved how christians are ruled by their own fear so that they are driven to control. This has been instilled in them from their very leaders. Whilst they know that love is the only truth they are caught in their own prejudices from up-bringing and society. Honestly if a christian can not love a gay man they are not christian!

Christians are commanded by Jesus to make disciples of all nations and all backgrounds. Love for people makes a Christian want to go out & talk to people about the Bible and it's hope for mankind. We don't hate the person, just the lifestyle they're living.

Of course. Jesus loves all people and Christians should do what Jesus does. There is a saying, "Hate the sin, love the sinner." I'm afraid that too many Christians pick and choose what they believe are the "worst" sins, but Jesus made it quite clear all sins separate us from God. Christians should not be judging gay people, but instead looking in the mirror and addressing their own sins.

Yes but it is a Christian love not a worldly love. It is of the world to ignore sin or tolerate it. We would not let our child we love do something that would hurt them so we warn urgently to those we love to turn from their sin lest they fall into judgment. Also love must be for God first and we are taught not to be united closely with those who live in sin but to call them to join us and leave their sin. So those who allow a person to perish in their sin really don't love them. It is those who cry out to flee the wrath to come who are exercising true Christian love by loving God first and our neighbor as ourselves. If I were in danger I would want someone to warn me and the worse the danger the stronger the warning.
Christians are called out of the world and in love they call others to come out as well and join us but we may not join them.

Sure why not. I treat homosexuals just as I would ordinary heterosexual people. Most of the people I know that are Christians would also do the same. The only ones that wouldn't would probably be those hardcore/fundamentalists Christians who follow every inch of the Bible word by word.

Yes and no... God wants us to love the sinner, but hate what he does. Are jobs are to make you straight, pretty much. But a lot of Christians these days aren't like that, so most of the populace will hate you. Sorry.

of corse. there are many people who are really conservative about the issue but hating a gay man would be sinning just as much. im sure (even though i dont think its right) that their are plenty of gay christians. in my mind, being gay is the same as lying. god doesnt judge the strength of sin. its all bad.

i completely would never even consider being gay ever, but if you're going to lie and stuff, whats wrong with being gay.

im sorry if i offended you. it wasnt my intention
