Egglands Best eggs. Whipped with a wisk soak the freanch bread over night covered in a glass dish, turning bread occasionally. Add anything you want to the egg mixture like cinamon & sugar or vanilla etc. Whatever flavor you desire. Avoid adding water the the mixture it will dilute the flavor and make it watery. If needed to thin eggs down, use a very little cream or milk. Best if you just use whipped eggs without thinning solutions, for a much richer flavor. Fry in a pan with butter until golden brown. Topping of choice. Jams, jellies, powdered sugar, syrups, etc

I know how it is to be low on bread.
I would use about 2-3 eggs depending on size. beat them until mixed, put a dab of milk in the eggs, mix alittle more, you can use cinnamon if you want. heat pan or griddle using med-hi heat. put cooking spray or real butter on pan. dip bread into eggs coating both sides at least twice. lay in hot pan. wait a minute then flip over to other side wait a minute and flip back over. keep flipping every minute or so, that way you get it perfect on both sides. when done put it on the plate. you can top with maple syrup, jelly, honey just about anything really. and you can serve with bacon or sausage, ham steak. or fruit on the side, oatmeal, grits. just about anything even cold cereal. good luck with you french toast hope I was some help. peace out..

1 beaten egg for each slice of bread
if your doing 7 pieces of toast then id say like a cup of sugar ( i know it sems alot) . put a teaspon of vanilla and about a half cup of milk.
take a slice of bread and put it in the egg mixure, poke holes in it with a fork after its saturated then fry it in a hot pan. Usually best if you spray the pan with some PAM or soemthing like it.

i lightly butter one side of the bread. slice in half.beat 2 eggs and add about 1/2 milk and 1/2 tsp. of clear vanilla. heat your grill or lg skillet and put the bread unbuttered side into egg mixture.leave just a second. take out , turn over.cook buttered side first. when light brown to taste, flip over to other side and do same. when you place on serving plate sprinkle with powdered sugar.Pre heat your syrup in microwave. Its all better if served hot.
