Yes. Love is a feeling. If you believe in a deity, then you believe that deity is love, or responsible for love. If you choose not to believe in a deity, then you probably assume that love is a "feeling" because of chemicals in the brain. Even if that is the case, then people with a deity and people without a deity both have the chemicals that can trigger a "love connection". If you have the ability to love, by either instance, then it is only right for you to do so.

What has being Atheist have to do with falling in love?
To be an atheist means the person does not believe in God, it doesn't mean he doesn't believe in love.

Well, since an atheist is a normal person, yes. There is no such thing as believing there is no God. Every human has an inner knowledge that there is a God. They may not know about him but they know there is a God. God is love. If you do not know God you do not know love. Only infatuation. And that will go away over time.

Try enforcing THAT prohibition! Love knows no bounds, even spiritual ones. I've seriously been involved with a couple of religious Catholics. Of course, that also contributed to the ultimate demise of those relationships. My truest love was with an agnosto-atheist. We said the Lord's Prayer at his funeral because of his parents' wishes, not his.

Oh, you don't want them to fall in love. Cause then all religions will crumble like pieces of glass.

Why wouldn't it be ok? I am not an atheist...but I do not see any reason in the world why this would not be ok.

No. It is not okay. It is BEAUTIFUL.
I don't care nearly so much about what you say you believe as I care about your beliefs in action. If you believe you can love and be loved in return, what does it matter what name you use for your beliefs?
Congrats, Jim.
Anyone feels all warm inside.

Too late to ask permission. These things just happen on their own, like rain and hail and lightning.
