Why do Curad bandage wrappers sparkle in the dark when you open them?

There is some thermo/chemical reaction that occurs when you pull the tape. I used to see the same thing in my photo darkroom when using Kodak tape. I think masking tape does the same thing.

I'm not sure, some might just be glow in the dark.
