i've had a chiuaua mix for about two weeks now. she keeps pooping in the living room. now my parents want to get rid of her, but i still believe in her. how do i teach her not to go in the house without leaving her outside all day??

im in the same postion w my puppy..wat i do is if i see him trying to poop i spank (not hard) and take him to a newspaper i set up for him..and is wrking very slow though lol u gotta be very patient

Take her out every few hours. She can't hold her poop like you can. She will also learn quickly that she will be let outside to take care of her business. However, if you don't get rid of the smell in the carpet, she will continue this in the same place. Get some Febreeze for pet odors to spray everytime the dog goes on the floor. It will take time. Also try crating the dog when you can't take her out. It is a dog's instinct not to do their business near their bed or food.

Feed the dog as much baker's unsweetened chocolate it can eat. I hear that works WONDERS for stopping dogs from pooping in the house.
