Hi Pamela,
Have you got huge boobs? Basically if you want a boob job whether it is reduction or an implant there has to be a genuine reason for needing one. If your boobs are completely flat you may have a slight possibility of getting an implant on the nhs, but as mentioned before the deciding factor will be your emotional/mental state and attitude to your self image. believe me, the nhs will not just give out treatments for purely cosmetic reasons!! obviously conditions such as breast reconstruction following surgery will warrant you a case but if it is purely aesthetic then think again. If they are huge, causing you back pain etc then again you will have a fairly good case. Failing this pop some chicken fillets into your bra, a perfect cleavage in seconds and all for the price of £3.50!! good luck!!

Pamela, I don't know jack about NHS. But i'm a man and i know boobs. Please don't get breat implants. I can't tell you what a turn off they are for me. They're so un-natural looking. It gives the appearance there's something wrong inside there. Basically they're ugly. I can honestly say unless there's a very good reason, such as reconstruction, I wouldn't go near a woman with implants.

I work as a Community Psychiatric nurse in the NHS. You won't get one unless it is causing severe mental distress or medical problems. Sorry to sound harsh if you really feel you need to, but there really are people a lot worse off than you !

Your condition has to warrant it E.G they are to heavy and are causing back-pain or they are to small and it is affecting you so much that your mental state is cause for concern, if you want them done just for vanity then you have to pay for them yourself.

If you've got a damn good case for having one. If it's purely for vanity purposes, stop sponging and fund it yourself.
