Prophet Mohammed (pbuh)
Second comes all other Prophets, if they were not good enough, God would not have chosen them to carry his teachings to mankind.

Though I'm an atheist now, I was confirmed as a Roman Catholic and I asked St. Thomas Aquinas to be my patron because I loved his use of calm logic, his ability to systematically tear apart any problems and apply research to solve the parts and in doing solve the whole. In the end, his was the primary source to counter the Reformation, the Summa Theologica.

I also found it funny to hear that his brother, trying to save him from believing in God and Christ, bought him a prostitute and Aquinas chased her out of the room with the fire-prod from his fire place.

Prepare to duck, hon, because you're likely to get a lot of flak from various True Believers concerning "saints"!.....but my favorite (FWIW, ex-Lutheran, now Pagan)---

St. Thomas More. A happily married spouse and father, who believed his daughters were QUITE capable of a lot of learning, thankyouverymuch! He was called by his contemporaries "the only honest lawyer in London", resigned the Lord Chancellorship (roughly equal to the Prime Minister) as a matter of conscience, and finally was executed, stating "I die the King's good servant---but God's, first."

He's a good role model as a person of courage and integrity, regardless of your religious or spiritual community....

Well, the Holy persons are God and Christ, but as for a person in the Bible I refer to most is the Apostle Paul. As Saul, he was a highly educated man, in his religion. He knew for certain that these people who were teaching a new form of belief in God were wrong and false prophets.

For one thing, they were using God's name, when it was known that such was consider heresy. They taught that the Messiah had come, when it was clear he hadn't, because the enemies of the Jews had not been destroyed, and earth given over to them. He prosecuted them for going from house to house, door to door, bothering normal people who simply wanted to believe in God in the traditional way, as it had been for hundreds of years.

Than Christ, who now exist in unapproachable light, appeared to him, blinding him, but opening his eyes to the fact there that there was a new religion, a new people of God, who followed a new path, set down by God and his Son.
