ok me and a few friends got together and made a list of questions that guys have asked. What do you actually mean when you ask these kinds of things?
1. I'll see you later then?
do you mean you would like to see me later or are you just finding a nice way to say get lost?
2. Will you go out with me?
some of you may think this is stupid but it's confusing! do you mean go out on a fun date or be your girlfriend?
3. So what are you doing later?
is this your chicken way of asking for a date or are you just making conversation?
4. Have you even thought about changing your hair color?
do you hate my hair or something?
5. Is this hot?
whether you are talking about a shirt you have on or some weird new hair style, this is a mean question. what if it's not? what do we say?

remember, these are each from a different person, not all from me. =')

1. it is a way of saying ending a conversation. typically it has no meaning of desire or lack thereof.

2. assume that it is a single date. if we want more than that we wont tiptoe around it.

3. it is not a chicken way of asking you out. it can be conversation and it can be a way of sliding into a date conversation. asking out women is hard for guys to do because of rejection. this allows us to get information and bail out before we go down in flames.

4. i wil go out on a limb here and say that any guy who would ask this is a bit of a jerk. that really isnt a question that a guy should ask unless he is asked about his opinion (which is always loaded ladies. please avoid that with us)

5. all I have to say with that, is that this question is just as loaded as any of the questions that we have recieved from you. that being said, thank you for pointing out that we men do at times ask loaded questions (i mean that seriously). i hadnt thought about that.

hope this helps.

1. In most cases it means exactly what it says, we'll see u later. But there are some cases when a guy will use this to keep from hurting your feelings if he's not all that into you. But, just think back over the time u spent together and u should be able to figure out which it is.

2. About 95% of the time this means "will you be my girlfriend". This is just a more "contemporary" way of askin. The other 5% percent of the time, a guy may jus want to go on a date with you, but don't take this as a bad thing, atleast you know that he's interested. The way to tell the difference between these 2 would be, if a guy asks you this, and after you say "yes" he goes into tellin you were he wants to take you, then it probably jus means that he want to take you out on a date, otherwise he wants you to be his girlfriend.

3.Almost 99.9999% of the time this is a guys way of askin you on a date. If we feel that you may reject us, we will ask this way . That way,if you were to reject us, we can say that we were jus makin conversation.....

4. (Did u mean "even" or "ever"?) Not neccesarily, it's jus guys don't think before we speak.

5.When ur at a loss for a response, jus tell us that everythin about us is hot, so we MAKE the shirt, haircut, etc hot!! :)

I hope this has helped you and your friends!!

You girls are so silly. Ok these questions can mean two different things.

But imagine if each one of those questions can mean....5 different things each. Thats why women confuse US, so how is it that we confuse you?

The only valid question is number 5. It depends on the guy. If he has low self esteem, you'd better help him out and be honest w/ him. But if he has high self esteem, it doesnt matter what your gonna say, he's still going to wear it because he likes it.

But as far at the other questions, it all depends on the guy.....I'm sorry I know that you wanted a better answer than that, but everyone is different.

I could as a girl if she wanted to go out w/ me, and I'd mean, "Do you want to go out....on a date next weekend".

But someone completely different, outside the midwest, could ask the same question and actually mean, "Do you want to go out with me......be my g/f?"

Just cock your head to the side, open up your ears and ask him, "That question could mean a few different things....what do you mean by......"

If you ask, there wont be any mixups and you'd know exactly whats going on....

gudluk!!

I think your over analyzing things a little here
1. see you later then <--- just what it says bye I'm leaving to go home/wherever hope to see you again

2.will you go out with me? more than likely to be his gf since he didn't add to the movies for lunch or whatever(oh yeah you have to think it's fun too)

3.It could be one or the other

4.I think it's more of a personality question if you haven't changed your hair color what color do you want? whichever color you pick he can relate to your personality by the people he's known before with that hair color. Or he doesn't like your hair natural hair color(he still likes you) and prefers another one

5.Be honest if it sucks say it then do it

1) IT depends on the context, but generally we are wanting to know if you'd like us to see you later. We'd like to see you later, and want to know if that's cool with you.

2) This means will you be my girlfriend, not will you go with me to the mall. It means do you want to have an ongoing bf/gf relationship with me. If it were in referance to one date he would give specifics like 'will you go out with me to the movies tongiht at 8?' but if he just says 'will you go out with me?'...that means bf/gf

3) This is a way to guage your reaction to find out if we might have a chance if we ask you out. If you say your busy and/or etc. we won't ask and won't feel rejected. If you say nothing and act like you'd be open to doing something, then we'll feel like we have a better chance if we ask you out.

4) we just want you to know we are noticing, paying attention to, and thinking about your hair, andalso just making small talk.

5) Again this is a way to guage your interest. If you say 'oh yeah, that's wayy hott!' we think we have a chance with you. If you say, yeah kinda, we know we don't have much of a shot. And if you say'Ewww, gross!' hahha, well you get the picture
