For me and many others yes, Islam is the way to go. You need to remember 2 things:

1) Islam is a religion, not a culture. What you see happening in Iran is CULTURAL, not RELIGIOUS!

2) There are fanatics in every religion who distort their religion to justify their actions.

Educate yourself a little and you will clearly understand these things.

I am not sure which video you have watched. Have you seen an abortion? Check out the movie silent scream. If people continue to have illicit sex, many a silent scream arises from little baby throats which are not allowed to breathe in the free air of the Lord and are snuffed out before they enjoy a breath of fresh air or the free sunlight.

When people have sex like animals and then kill their own children and throw their body parts into buckets, you tell me what is more sick?

Do a search on abortions. Two million little babies are killed and thrown out into the garbage. You are pretending to be ah so upset about the rules of Islam being imposed on those who for a few minutes of pleasure would threaten the lives of future human beings but do not look at the little babies cut with scalpels, burnts with chemicals and thrown out into the buckets filled with baby parts. If you see the connection, you will change sides and see it is sick to kill babies than potential baby killers.

By the way, many of these videos are made up. Very few people are killed by stoning or beheading as the proofs required to fulfill all the requirements for these punishments are very hard to procure. The general rule is if the case is not air tight, you do not implement the punishment.

The gruesomeness of the punishment is to stop people from committing actions that lead to worst, that is baby killing!!

If you stop and think, you will see the light.

"One Christian leader told me: ' We Iranian Christians are like balls. The harder you hit us, the higher we bounce.' "

"We defeat 'the prophet of hate' when we share about 'the Prophet of Love." The location is not important. The Qur'an (Koran alternative spelling) states that those people with whom Allah was angry were cursed and turned into pigs and ape ("The Table, "Surah 5: verse 60). "How many young 'Osama Bin Ladens' can be inoculated against hate when exposed to the compassion of Jesus?" ~Tom "White When we as Christians begin to see no difference between working to save the terrorists from harming us and working to save them from themselves, then God will be glorified. ~Tom White "Like the 10 virgins Jesus spoke of in Matthew 25, Vietnamese Christians are wisely preparing the way for Christ in the hearts of many. ~Tom White

With all the bigotry in these answers---when people really take things out of context and talk of things they know nothing about, what can I say? They have their minds made up already.

Religion is a tool. For worship. To control the masses. To force someone's will etc. It should be used to promote peace and harmony but hey that's life.
