I have never found it to be comforting, always upsetting--it promises so much and then delivers nothing, a completely unhealthy relationship, like being in love with someone who lies to you constantly, never works so that you have to support them, never sleeps with you, but sleeps with thousands of other people who tell you about it and leaves you feeling nothing but used and hurt

I think that the Love is alwasy pure but we mostly seek that love at times when we are being tested, and the love not being the quick and convienient answer is upsetting because sometimes what you are asking to be helped on takes time and the type of prolonged effort you can complain you took and the prayers haven't been answerd but even then it can be a double test, one on the issue and second on patience to get the real solution. But I agree with George, it is alwasy comforting.

For me, it's neither one thing nor the other. No god, no love of god.

It can be challenging. Sometimes he puts me in situations that are difficult. But I change as a result.
