many people pierce their bodies just about everywhere, is there a reason for doing so?

They do it because they want to and they like how it looks. Does everything everyone does have to have a hiddne meaning or purpose?

To find your body more pleasing. I always hated my nose but was never willing to get a nose job as it is, my nose. So I pierced it and have loved it ever since.
Some people when they look at their bodies see it in a different way than you do. When I look at my body, and empty canvas full of places I want to decorate with tattoos.

A lot of people say it's for individuality. Others have a threshold for pain & happen to get a kick out of it. Then there are the freaks who enjoy it to satisfy someone else's needs...
I've only had a belly button piercing. It hurt like hell & I only got it because my friends were getting one too. I like getting tattoos WAY better.

I had my tongue pierced and I loved it. It didn't hurt and it was just, well, fun. It had a lot of purposes but I won't go into those;) Most people get the ones that you can see because they like the way it looks, many get the other ones for ****** pleasures!

Because they think it looks cool. Why do people wear jewelery? Why do people wear rings, earrings, bracelets and every other piece of jewelery they wear. Its just a fashion statement. Others just decide to put jewelery on other body parts.

I wish i knew as it just looks awful and vulgar,they must be mad to have it done,i feel the same about tattoo's as they are with you for life,and fancy growing old with awful tattoo's on your body,no not for me thank you
