A pint in America is 16 oz. Other the UK it's 20 oz.
Most bottled beers are 12 oz.

I litre is equal to 1.74 pints. There used to be pubs it seemed, on every corner and one in between, but now more and more are being converted into residential homes. In quite a few pubs now they have done away with beer glasses and use plastic instead, because they are used in fights.
