The answer to the illegal immigration issue is simple. Tell your congressman that you want the government to start putting restrictions on big businesses. If the companies didn't hire illegal immigrants, and they couldn't find work, they wouldn't come here. You can't really blame someone for seeking a better opportunity for themselves and their family, even if it affects you negatively in someway. How many times within our lives when we take the opportunities given us do we steal an opportunity from someone else? Its part of life. Crack down on the big businesses that hire illegals, not on the people themselves. Give them some incentive to seek legal status if they want a better life ... because living in America with no job is no walk in the park.

Concidering everythig that's happening within our borders, wouldn't you be a bit inclined to say we're more stressed than distressed..

Yes, how would we set something like this up. I would gladly do this myself and anyone who got violent with me would have some major problems. Also the national guard would not come out to stop us due to the fact that most in the military are against illegal immigration them selfes. They might call me but I got caller ID so I would know not to pick up the phone that day.

In My opinion,
Americans should show their protest by voting all politicians that currently hold a office now, out of office.
Of course a little protesting in the streets wouldn't hurt.
BUT, the pro-illegals are violent and may cause bodily harm. So, be prepared with a nice soda bottle full of cement.

That's a great idea. The world would stop rotating. The Mexicans protested and gardens withered, offices weren't cleaned, cars weren't washed, and burgers weren't flipped. If Americans protested, the economy and society of the planet would screech to a halt.

Such is not the American way... we would be depicted around the world as bigots and racists... yet when others do it, they are expressing their freedom of speech and 'bringing critical issues' to the forefront. The double standard sickens me.

I think Congress is starting to 'get it' on illegal immigration, as well as many states and municipalities. Illegal immigration is just something that isn't going to wash with the majority of Americans, be they latino, inuit, black, white, asian, or otherwise.
