It only matters if you are concerned about your eternal soul.

First the God of all creation is the God to be worshiped. What name people give that God may vary.
Christian scriptures i.e. the Gospels where they record Jesus' teachings make it clear works i.e. following the rules does no good. Only faith and belief in the free gift of eternal life offered by Christ assures reception of the gift.

Yes it matters which God you worship. There's only one I know about but I heard there are others. The One I worship is everything.

Are there any other religions, besides Christianity that believes and worships a 'LIVING GOD'? Religions are just a form of studies....Salvation is a personal experiece with God and His son Jesus. The study of different religions is unfullfilling to the spirit that God placed within us, but a personal experiene with a living God is a comfort to our hearts.

I think it's extremely important. After all, it's how this country was established. Would you want to be told how to worship or forced to worship in a certain way? Besides, isn't their just one God, no matter what we call the religion?

As long as those rules do not teach to hurt, hate, be predjudiced, or kill in the name of that religion. If it teaches kindness, love, to accept everyone no matter what color of skin, and compassion for your fellowman. Seems some people cannot tell the difference between right and wrong if their religion says it is in GOD`s name.

That's like asking 'Does it matter which girl you marry, as long as you 'follow the rules' and are faithful?' Even if it didn't matter to you, it sure might matter to the girl. I'd check it out with the God if I were you. (;p)
Hoping the best for you...

considering mormons discriminate against all minorities, christians discriminate against homosexuals and muslims, and all judeo christian religions are based on hatred bigotry and prejudice, yes that freedom is important and choice of god to worship does matter--I would never choose to worship the christian god and will never follow their rules

Not unless truth is important. It should be immediately obvious that conflicting beliefs mean false beliefs, since truth cannot conflict with truth. Therefore, if truth matters, it is essential to identify the one Church founded by God Himself, the one to which He gave a divine guarantee of truth.

I tihnk that religions are vehicles to get to God but this only applies to monotheistic religions...but you should go to the religion you feel is right for you. I'm a Roman Catholic by birth but during a period of time i was questioning my religion and now i'm still a Roman Catholic but by choice...so you need to feel it's right for you

Yes it does matter what God you worship. We should worship the One who created us because He deserves our devotion.
