I had a down mattress top with white feathers in it and a down comforter ,what could I spray my mattress with so I can sleep in it.I have new sheets and a new comforter.I can't sleep at night for my allergies and coughing.

Hate to say it, but I think you have to get rid of the comforter. At Walmart they sell mattress covers that help block the allergens, get the ones for your pillows too. I know Febreeze makes a spray with Allergen reducer that works alright but, you should get rid of the things that are causing symptoms.Allergies can be serious business sometimes, even causing Asthma.

I was the same way. Its the bed mites in the mattress that's giving you all the problems.
I love the Shark Vac, its awesome. Cover your mattress with baking soda and let it set in. After an hour use the Shark Vac, and vac your mattress. You should really vac your mattress every week.

The person who answered first is correct I had the same problem, get rid of the feathers and cover it with a zippered cover and keep fragrance and crap detergents away too. I also have a hepa air cleaner in my bedroom, and keep my windows closed.

if u can carry ur mattress and leave it in sunlight for 3+ hours that would help
or i guess u can get a new one :)

Change your pillow cases every other day, wash your bedding once a week, and spray with febreze allergans daily.
