My Husband is the same way....someone got him a hot dog rotisserie maker for Christmas. He loves it (he also likes hot dogs).
They also have a fajita station, popcorn maker, quesadillas maker and a snow cone maker.
A shower radio or tv is a good idea too.

Depends on what he's already got and whether or not he's appreciative. For example some people like gadgets but will get mad if you don't get them the top of the line stuff while other people will be glad that you showed 'em you care. I would recommend paying attention to what stores he likes going to and what sections of the store he likes being in. Also you should try talking to him about what you think about whatever item(surreptitiously finding out what he's interested in of course ;) )
