Flossing your teeth, and staying away from dark drinks like coffee, and soda. Baking soda and peroxide are both found in toothpase so small amounts is fine.

It is best to get your dentist to whiten your teeth. Zoom whitening is an excellent 'insurgery' whitening system which does not damage the enamel. I have seen teeth change from 6-12 shades lighter which is significant on the shade scale. The over the counter varieties can be quite abrasive and these products can damage the enamel. All whitening products dehydrate the teeth which is the cause of sensitivity. You need to be careful about putting anything with colour in it near your teeth for at least 2 days after whitening. Drink lots of water and use a product called Tooth Mousse which helps rehydrate and floods the teeth with calcium and phosphates. To keep them white use Day White in the take home trays (which should be provided after having Zoom done) for an hour a day once a month. This is also available from your dentist. Minimize your intake of coffee and tea and don't smoke. Hope this helps.

A good electric toothbrush, it's pricey but the Philips Sonicare elite if the best toothbrush around. It whitens your teeth and keeps your teeth and gums healthier than you can contemplate.
Zoom lightening is a very very good lightening system that only dentists can perform, that also is pricey but its non abrasive so the enamel wont be stripped off your teeth and they give you gel to use once a month after the treatment to maintain the colour.
Try to avoid smoking, coffee, strong tea (if you're British) and coloured alcohol like wine where the tannin stains your teeth.
Drink plenty of water to flush away debris after eating, sparkling water is good for this.
Some whitening toothpastes. Not pearl drops or beverly hills formula...they are really abrasive.
Sensodyne gentle whitening is good, as is colgate total + whitening.
Good luck!

Any of the products that whiten your teeth can lead to sensitivity and damage the enamel if used repeatedly. For permanent alteration to the color of your teeth you need to consider Crowns, Bridges or Veneers. All of which require some tooth structure to be removed and a great deal of money to be spent.

Any whitening you do is bad for your teeth. But it would be better if you use professional product.Have your dentist take impressions of your teeth, make you beaching trays. They will give you everything that you need to use.It will take about two weeks. After that to maintain you gonna have to use a straw for every colored drink you have.I mean for coffee, tea ,sodas, red wine.Bleaching with laser is much faster, but it coasts more, does the same thing. One more thing,if you have fillings on your front teeth, they will stay the same color. If you have yellow teeth, that means your filling is yellow too. When you bleach, tour teeth will become white but your fillings will stay yellow. So that's another thing you have to deal with.

well, cheapest way is do your cleaning faithfully
or get some whitening strips
or go to a dentist and get it whiten with laser
or get a coating of enamel coat for your teeth by the dentist (they cannot be stain and they are non porous but this procedure is EXPENSIVE)
DO NOT USE WHITENING GEL WITHOUT A PROPER MOLD...because it would blister your gum

salt yes its salt. you can do brushing gently with salt. that clears all the small decay & the stuff deposited on the teeth. every time u take food or any drink , rinse your mouth & clean your teeth with the help of your finger. remeber any particle of food remaining in the cavity or corner of teeth can easily produce decay after 24 hours. brush it with the paste at morn & with salt at night. & keep smiling. if it works mail me.
