I'm trying to sign people up for loan programs with my company, and i'd like to promote my services by setting up an information table at local supermarkets. Has anybody every done anything like that before? If so, what is the process?

I know the first step is to call and find out, but would love to hear what you guys have to say...

I doubt the supermarkets in my area (except for Wal-Mart, perhaps) would want an information table set up in their stores, as one of your competitors might be one of their better customers. Call and check, though.

Ask the store manager, or if that does not work, ask the manager that you would like to speak to the president of the store, if the store is a chain, you will definatly get answers there, If its just a regular side store, then you haved to call your local councel man,

actually folks being outside of businesses collecting for organizations at the holidays I do not mind

regular folks who set up just to sell - grate my nerves for you are intruding on my space to enforce your service

word of mouth and out and out advertising is the way to begin business -
not stopping folks as they go about their personal errands
