donald trump and a whole lot of New Yorkers apparently signed a massive petition that the towers be re-erected but modified...this apparently fell through and the dodgy conspiring government is approving the construction of the freedom tower, think they are starting to build it in 2007

My vote was to pull out the original plans, add 19 floors (1 for each hijacker) and have the grand reopening on 9-11-2002. Obviously, that won't happen.

i think at one point they were/are considering building one large tower as a memorial at that site, but i know a majority of the people are against the idea of building a whole new building there, so i am not sure what they will do instead, but i am curious to find out what they will do.

I don't think so. They'll put some memorial there, but many people are against the idea of putting an actual building at the site of that many deaths.
