My bloke and i have been together for 5 months and have pretty much lived together since day one. We have recently been discussing kids and marriage, but is it to soon??

It's not to soon to discuss it but I wouldn't recommend getting married or having kids quite yet.

The two of you have been playing house but do you really know one another well enough to become a married couple? Consider what it requires to maintain a household and raise children before jumping into something this important. Are you physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially equipped for this reality?

I think you need to sit down and discuss the real issues of commitment and don't bring any babies into this relationship too quickly.

get engaged first, that can last until you're ready to take the next step. my hubby and i got engaged within 3 months of meeting but couldn't afford to get married for another 7 years. that was four years ago and we now have a beautiful 2 year old daughter too! if we could have we would have married and had kids earlier but it wasn't possible so it worked for us to wait. engagements don't have to be short you can take your time and decide when you want to move things along. at least you've shown you're commmited to one another!

I went with my wife for about 8 months before we got married and we did not live together until after we got married.

i think it is too soon to get married why don't you get engaged first and then see what happens cause some people change when they have a ring on the finger eg normally the men best of luck

Nope, not if you both think that this is it. It depends on how old you are... if you are 18, it could be reasonable to live together longer, but... who can tell? If it makes sense to you - go for it!

It may be alittle to early and you may want to wait, but then it mostly depends on what both of you think, since you are going to be the ones that are going to have to deal with what you choose.

It is cheaper to pay for legal advice and draw up civil contracts these days, and as there is no stigma to bastard children -what is the point? Spend your money on something nice instead.

No. It's up to you. Don't let anyone else's ideas of time dictate how you should live your lives or what you should do with your relationship. If you've found happiness, sieze it!
Good luck.
